Some guns that are highly desirable I never get into them because there is no place to shoot them in this area. Landowners don't want people shooting rifles on their land. They have seen how well slug guns work and in their opinion that's all you need. Alcoa owns a lot of land in this area. They will happily write a permission slip to hunt on their land but getting a rifle permission slip is impossible. They own the land so their opinion rules.

I wish landowners opinions would change so I could consider other guns.

Have you never bought a gun simply because you wanted it, and had the money for it?

I've bought many just for the experience of owning and firing that gun. Some (most) I've kept, others I sold or traded. Retained the experience, though.

Yup, I just bought a Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special. I just couldn't resist. Felt kinda guilty at first but got over it!

Basically every gun! If I had to narrow it down I've always wanted a cheytec intervention, I'm not sure why cause I don't have any use for it
