Thx, Texaspossum those grips are very old. I think they are J. Scott made from powdered ivory residue vintage late 1960s.
As you are aware the Mdl. 27 S&W 3.5" was the S&W Flagship handgun for years. This particular Mdl. 27 was bought from the Weber Co. Utah SO. They sold these off when they went to semi-autos. The S&W Mdl. 27 3.5" is my favorite .357 caliber handgun. This is the same S&W model carried by General Geo. S. Patton.
