Gun trading
 

Recently I saw a sweet looking Dan Wesson .22 revolver at my local gun shop & decided I had to have it. I traded a Ruger 9mm that I only had 150$ in straight up for it. When I took it to the range I decided I didn't like the short barrel for a plinker (4") and felt naked without a designated truck gun. So today I traded the Dan Wesson .22 off for a Springfield Armory XD in .40 with box,2 mags, papers, etc. I had to give 100$ boot for the XD but since I only had 150$ in the Dan Wesson .22 that put me to having 250$ total for the XD. Also the guy threw in a box of ammo. Even though it's not a .45 I believe the .40 XD will make for a dandy truck gun. I think I'm going to quit while I'm ahead.

bear, you are definately ahead. If you've only got $250 in an XD you're golden!

I wish I could have bought that Dan Wesson for $200.:rolleyes:
