Gun show in a van

My church had an outing today for the guys. Shooting out at my brother-in-law's place.

I took my small group of firearms out (see signature). You should have seen the arsenal one of my friends hauled out of the back of his van. hooboy...

AK-47
SKS
Rock River Arms AR-15 (M-4 type)
Rock River Arms AR-15 (M-16 type)
SA SOCOM .308
Mosin-Nagant
Mauser K98
M1 Garand
Along with probably a dozen other various bolt, lever actions, and pistols.

Fun was had by all. I think I spent most of my time loading and passing guns around.

I do have to say that the AK 47 may be the most uncomfortable gun I have ever shot.

Sounds like a good day. I love helping new folks at the range.

Our Church does that too. Every year in December we do a mens shoot. In January we bring the ladies out. On Sundays we have the safest parking lot in Walled Lake.

I haven't been to a shoot with a load of different weapons since I was in college. I remember it being a very fun time, trying out different firearms and calibers. Glad to hear you had a good time, congrats :)

I shudder to think how much money he had just in the ammunition.

When Red Dawn happens, I'll be living in that van down by the river

Dog, you should have been at the Texas M & G at Lon's. It was a gun show all on it's own. If the rain had stopped, it would have been even better. Try to make the national M & G next June.
