Well, NGIB asked about handguns, so I'd say I'm a 5 in that area:

I own six, but I've probably owned 25 in my lifetime.

I have my CHL but don't carry very often.

I'm a good shot, but I wouldn't say I'm a good shooter.

I don't know how to double-tap; I want to learn.

I grew up with long guns, I'm relatively new to the pistol (25 years or so).

My Dad taught me to clean after every use, and I still do. I enjoy it.

I'm a lifetime member of the NRA.

I'm around a 3, mostly due to the fact that I'm in a long-distance relationship with my guns. Was going to try to bump that up by getting a gunsmith apprenticeship this summer, but I got an offer for a pretty awesome internship, and I couldn't turn it down.

Guessing about a 4. I don't reload, I try to shoot whenever possible and the guns get cleaned immediately afterwards.

I have an AR, 12 ga., .380, .38, .45. Possibly looking for a .40 (because the .40 ammo is all over the place, and it kinda fits between the .38 and .45) and a .22 rifle for plinking.

As far as readiness, the AR needs a lock & load, the shotgun a rack, the handguns are always ready to go.

Being retired LEO, we are granted the right to CC in any state via HR.218.

I'm about a 2.5 probably. I bought my first gun just 10 months ago, so my evolution has only begun. Experience? I'm about a "1.5". Interest and commitment? Maybe a "7".

I now have 4 guns (as I just sold my 22-250)- A 9mm, 357sig/40sw, 12g, and an AR15. I shoot 300-500 rounds a month, most of which exit the AR or the CZ 75b. I've found them both to be really good learning platforms. The 22-250 was a little project to learn my way around bolt actions, choosing, mounting, and using optics, etc. Gained some experience and then was able to get all my money back out of it.

I'm ambitiously attacking my lack of experience. I try to learn all I can about my firearms and always clean them after every shooting session. Have plans for a CHL, and a few too many "next guns" on the agenda. I'd like to work my way up to reloading at some point, but it's not a priority right now as I'm shooting mostly 9mm and .223. My skills are pretty limited at this point, but I'm shooting the CZ really well.

I'll probably replace the 22-250 with a larger bolt rifle next. Or maybe a poly pistol. Or a 1911. Or...well, what I should do is pick up a Ruger or Henry 22lr rifle. I'm actually just waiting for the right sale on one of those.

I'd go with a 7.5 to 9.
I own 4 pistols, a 1911, Glock 30sf, Berreta Neos 22, break-top 38s&w caliber revolver. I own 2 shotguns a double barrel and a Mossberg 500 and an AK variant. Oh and an old single shot 22 Marlin bolt gun.
My father owns a 357 mag revolver I'm fond of as well as his 12, 20, and 410 gauges.
I try to own as much of a variety of guns as I can as long as I like them. My next gun will hopefully be in a 44 mag, seeing as my last one was put out of commision by me loosing a spring I cant replace.
I do my own gunsmithing and will be seeking a certification in it when I finish my undergraduate degree. I want to be able to hang with the people at Springfield's custom workshop and know what they're talking about and be able to do it as well.
I am in the process of filling out my CCW.
Although all this is my passion, I havent joined the NRA or GOA
I do plan on joining them pretty soon though, sometime in the next month when I have the actual cash to do it. Dont know why I havent, I've been sent plenty of forms just havent had the money when they come in.

What is the rank of someone who no longer has any guns because of the FTF Cruise?

Before that, I would say based on the ranking guidelines, I was like a 2. I had more than some, but less than alot. Maybe a 2.5 because I had a purpose for each one I had. They were basically centered around hunitng, defense and plinking. Ok, I am a 2.3.

I own 14 handguns. I shoot 22, 380, 9mm, 38, 357 mag, 40 S&W, 44 Mag, 45ACP and 45 Colt. I reload all of those except 22. I also reload 7.62x39, 30-30, 308 Win and 8mmx57. I pour my own lead bullets. I order from MidwayUsa.com on a regular basis. They sent me the big catalog without me asking. I do minor gun smithing. I have a concealed weapoin permit. I am almost never unarmed. I shoot a minimum of once a week rain or shine. I have had to dig through the snow to recover my brass.

I guess I am probably a 10.

I own several handguns of different calibers, shoot atleast once a month, sometimes more. I have a carry permit and am armed most of the time.

I don't reload, nor do I plan to. I only do minor gunsmithing. That's about it.
