I use it on all my hand guns.It stays in place when holstered and temp wise it seems to be un affected. Another nice thing about it is when you go to clean your gun after shoots it literaly wipes off.It appears that nothing sticks to it and makes it easier to clean. A little goesa long way also. But before you use it clean the gun very well and it will be fine
