Default GSG 1911 .22lr

Ok I've seen conversion kits to turn your .45 into a .22, can I turn the .22 into a .45? I wouldn't think so because of the size of the bullet. I might have just answer my own question but I welcome all input.

Not this one. The barrel link is a different setup and the slide is not strong enough to handle .45ACP.
