Got a Good Gun Week Coming Up

My Ruger Mark III should be back from service on Monday and I can finally pick up the Sig P226 on Tuesday. Then next Sunday, I get the privilege of introducing a new shooter to the safety and basics of handguns.

To my way of thinking, that's a good week.

How much do you charge for people to partake of your weeks of fun? ;)

No charge. The best things in life are free. ;)

Getting into the final stages of assembling what could be my favorite 1911. Fusion frame with a dura-coat of desert tan, Ed brown innards, slide and other external parts done in dura-coat flat black.

Then taking a new shooter out to teach basic firearm instructions,

Then a glass of Knob Creek Whiskey when all is done.

(I like your agenda too!)

Congrats on your build. I'm in my 21st week of an order for my 1911 from Fusion and it seems like it will never come.

BServa is a busy young man. Patience (or buy one of the kits on gunbroker.com), and you will be rewarded.

I really don't see me at 61 years old trying to learn how to fit a 1911:-) That's why I'm so impressed that you took up the challenge. Besides that Bob is one of the best and a true gentleman to do business with.
Maybe you can help me understand something, last week Bob told me that my gun just went to "Ion Bond", are you familiar with how long this process takes & could you estimate when it might be done based on that info?
