Yea I have a little flexibility if it's over $800. And two decent guns are definitely doable in my area and with the decent pricing my LGS has. Only thing that sucks is I will have to wait 30 days between purchases. Stupid one handgun a month bs.

My Ruger P95DC is a great, inexpensive 9mm semi-auto. You can buy one for about $300.00, leaving you possibly enough for a used or inexpensive 1911? I have both and really like shooting both. 9mm is cheap for practice, 1911 is a little more fun to shoot, makes larger holes in the paper ;-)

It occurs to me that i spent about $850 when i bought that used CZ75b duotone (9mm) and a new but long-displayed GP-100 and a couple of boxes of ammo.

You could use it as a 15% down payment on a Korth Combat revolver, .357 magnum.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

I think the choice of a glock and the gp100 is a great idea. I have a couple glocks which have both been flawless running firearms and a joy to shoot. The gp100 is actually one of my favorite arms alot of friends and family have shot it and everyone says how fine a weapon it is

Buy a Glock or S&W M&P and a good shotgun (Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 or S-12.

Just curious where are you at that you have a 30 day wait between handguns? I live in Illinois where some of the most restrictive gun laws are and I just purchased a xdm40 compact, a 1911, an sp101 and an ar15 at one time.. just a 3 day wait on handguns and 1 day wait on the rifle.
