I am thinking of buying a sig p232 but I have read about shortages on .380 ACP ammo. Any advice? Also, what is a good price for .380 ACP?

i think that the .380 round is a good one for a pocket pistol. a good combination of small size versus effectiveness. in past months i'd been trying to buy some .380 rounds from my normal suppliers for my girlfriends colt gov 380. they were out of the ammo that i prefer. i am a bit picky about my ammo. i am sure that many ammo supplies will soon be available. other brands of .380 are still available. jeff.

I've owned 2 P232s and they are really nice, finely crafted guns. The only problem is their "identity". To big for a pocket gun and to small for an everyday range shooter. They make a nice thin carry piece but the .380 isn't the most effective load for this. There are plenty of 9mm guns in the same size category so finding a real good use is difficult - hence selling both of mine.

As far as ammo goes, .380 is still difficult to find at reasonable prices. It's getting somewhat better, but the shortage isn't over for this caliber yet.
