I feel good about the deal I got on the Sig 229 but I saw a really good deal on a local GA forum this morning. A very nice Springer Loaded for the asking price of $580. If I needed another 1911 I'd be all over this one. The economy must really be getting bad for deals like this to pop up...

Bad economy...and now it's time for some folks to mail a check the IRS.

I've seen some great deals on ARs lately. Picked up a like new DPMS, with Millet red dot and many extras, and 850 rounds of PMC for $900 a couple weeks ago. The ammo alone was worth $300.

Around here handguns seem to be in high enough demand to keep them turning over at strong prices.

Good deals on guns all over and ammo is more availiable too. Me likey! :cool:

Any particular online sites you have found ammo (looking for 380) to be more available...and at a cost other than Bill Gates to afford?? :confused:

Most of the online sites show it as available until you click on the CHECKOUT and then it shows ON BACKORDER??

WOW! That is cheap. I just bought 3 boxes of that same stuff for $16.99/box and smiled all the way to my truck and called a buddy to tell him where to go.
