Hmmm....6 spare mags = 90 rounds + 16 loaded to go. Maybe another 500 rounds. I also believe in making every round count, that's why I spend time at the range.

Considering 9mm to be most readily available, you can always scavenge if you need to, including the BG you may have had to defend yourself from.

If I have to explain it, you probably won't understand it.

Eh, if I run out of ammo I'm just going to pick up the first weapon I find that has ammo with it. If the situation is really that bad, and if I'm still alive, I'm not gonna pass up a nice .40cal service weapon because the ammo in it's magazines don't match my favorite 9mm :P .

Just the same, if I've got an Empty Ar15 and find an Ak47 or even a bolt-action .243, I'm picking that up at least until I can either find some 5.56 or at least something better than the bolt-action. Again, this is assuming TEOTWAWKI.
