I hate glock because it is the only gun that I have seen blow up in someones hands. I've seen it happen 3 times.

I hate GLOCK because I reserve that right. However if there is an owner who wishes to gift one away, I would gladly be the recipient. I'm down to one handgun.

You need to get out more. I've seen a Glock, a Beretta, a 1911 in .45 and a 1911 Delta Elite in 10mm, a Smith and Wesson 1917, and a Taurus 85 blow up.

The REAL reason was so that I may have yet another chance to voice my contempt for an overrated firearm. At least that I how I see it.

If someone ever gave me a glock, I would have a hard time deciding whether to sell it or test it. By "test" I mean seeing if the the GLOCKs () grip angle can deflect multiple 5.56 impacts.

I don't hate Glock, after all I have one and shoot it often. There are better handguns out there for the same price. I personally think Glocks are overpriced for what you get. Ill give ya a list of why.
1. The barrel, the most important part of the gun. The chamber is not fully supported, which ticks me off cuz I reload. But, the worst part of the barrel for me is the STUPID polygonal rifling. I hate it!!! It's less accurate than button rifling and doesn't cost any less to do. So you can't shoot lead cast or reloads in a Glock, that's half the ammo I shoot!!!

2. The parts in the lower are CHEAP sheet metal, after that they are just sunk Into the polymer of the lower. If S&W, Springfield, and Beretta can use full steel parts, why can't Glock?!?!

3. The triggers suck. They break like a green twig.

4. If you are used to shooting ANY other pistol you will hate the grip angle. Its angled in such a way that you have to hold it like a limp-rested fairy just to shoot it!!

All in all Glocks arnt bad guns. If new Glocks sold for more around $450 they would be awesome.

Here is mine

All you GLOCK lovers are the same. You try and hide it by talking sh!t about it. TRIP is a for sure GLOCK lover. Classic closet GLOCK LOVER. How else to hide it by banning yourself from the GLOCK forum!!! haha. I love all my firearms that I purchase except that damn Kel Tec P3AT!!

I accept that fact that a Glock is a fine weapon, and I realize that millions of better shooters than I am highly value their Glock handguns.

It is easy to be proud of a 1911 a Beretta 92, or a S&W model 60, but I just don't see a Glock ever becoming a valued family heirloom. Something about the gun says, cheap, disposable and tacky to me, not much different than a Hi-Point. That is a personal feeling and has no basis in functional reality, but it does affect my buying habits.

If I bought firearms based only on functionality, I would only own a few, and one of them may be a Glock. I don't.

Complete lack of a safety is what I can not stand about them. I prefer to carry "cocked and locked" with a Glock that personally sounds like a good way to shoot yourself in the leg.
