Be careful what you ask for. People tent to love them or hate them. :)

I trust my life to glock every day.

I invested in a G23 as my first handgun and hated it. There was nothing wrong with the gun, but it was not the gun for me. The internet can not tell you what the gun for you is. You have to get out there and see how it feels in your hand and if possible, shoot it. If i only had a glock and my life depended on it. I know the gun would not fail me.

First pistol I bought was a Glock 22.

First handgun was a 4 inch Blackhawk 357 mag.

Go Glock or go home!!!!!

In all seriousness, accurate and durable polymer wonders. Thats all

They point better and more naturally for me, most find the opposite to be true for them.

They are great, not just good, but great guns! Quality Inn every sense. I highly recommend Glock brand handguns.

Glocks are great guns.. A 21 was my first handgun, reliable and accurate.. Just traded a 19 for a my 1911, it too was a great gun.. Had I not gotten a trade offer I couldn't pass on I'd still have it. Springfield XD's are also great pistols if your in the DAO market.
Do yourself a favor and find a way to shoot as many options as possible before purchasing, either through friends or renting at the range.
