I have a Dan Wesson model 15 .357 Magnum revolver with a 8" barrel on layaway + a Glock 29 10MM.
I am thinking about having the gun shop owner take the revolver out of layaway and get me a Glock 20 instead.
What are your thoughts?

A Dan Wesson is a great .357 (assuming it's a Monson MA gun); a Glock is a Glock... |

Love the GLOCK 20... The Dan Wesson is very nice, but the barrel length is too long. __________________ Peace through superior firepower

Why not keep the DW and save for the Glock? __________________ Murphy's law has not be repealed.

The Glock 20 was/is to be the bigger brother of a Glock 29 10MM. __________________ "True Happiness is a warm .357,.45 ACP,.38 Special,.410 or a 12 gauge & a cold Sun Drop." ME

You can use the Dan Wesson to hunt deer with in Ohio. Not sure about the G20's barrel length. Personally, I would get the DW, and then save for another firearms if I wanted it badly enough. __________________ From C3Shooter:

I would but I've never liked the Dan Wessons. If it was an older S&W with a more reasonable barrel length I would have to think about it some more. YMMV!

I would, and have, picked the DW over any Glock. A Glock isn't even one of the semiautos on my lost of possible buys. No plastic for me. Steel!! |
