I think that only applies to the Phase Plasma Rifle in the 9mm range...

It was a Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40 watt range.

I agree the 40 watt range is the preferred tool for terminating pesky humans.

I do not agree with the Glock instuctor's line of thought. A car spring is loaded but not fully compressed as a fully poaded magazine would be. Yes car springs do sag with time. Just another reason to dislike Glock.

Modern magazine springs are MUCH more durable than springs of yesteryear. All springs will lose SOME tension if compressed fully. There is a great deal of arguement about what and why it happens. Some argue that loading them fully one time is the same as loading them fully and leaving them that way for years.

IMHO it depends on the composition of the spring. The Glock/Smith/Sig/HK/Colt/etc magazine spring is far better than the Raven or Jennings spring.

I have never had a problem with fully loaded magazines from quality manufacturers.

On a separate not, this discussion has devolved into personal attacks that are baseless given the fact that metal fatigue in spring steel, and any metal for that fact, has been a well known fact for over a century. The question was whether to keep a mag loaded or not. I don't for the reasons I cited - I am not "telling" anyone to do anything - just stating a fact...if for some strange reason anyone finds that offensive, they can stick their fully-loaded magazines up their pompous ass.
Ok.. So then do you rotate your loaded mags? How do you keep at least one hand gun (unless you use a revolver for this function) at the ready if you always unload your mags?

I am sure it happens I did not say it does not happen ever did I? No I didn't I simply stated that after 6 years nothing has happend to mine. I do not shoot my 45 all that much either.

I prefer the 75 watt laser guided plasma antiproton flak cannon. You get very good red mist action with a centermass shot, you can even cause flips if you get a good head shot.

My mags get unloaded at the end of a day of carry. I have only two mags for my auto's, and I have never used the spare - I'm not "armed-to-the-teeth" when I go out and as long as I unload my mags I expect to never have to rely on my spare mags... If I lived in NYC I would probably have a carry rig that allowed spare mags, but in the boonies I don't feel the need to have more than 7 or 10 rounds. I also have a .357 revolver, but it is not as concealable as my PPK or Beretta mini-cougar.

So Israel is better than NY At least in this. Here we can carry spared mags
without limit.

Huh??? Re-read what I wrote...
This post is about personal preferrence, not what's legal.. if I lived in Israel I'd be carrying an M-240 SAW with a friend behind me carrying the ammo can!
