With the training I received from CURE, I can acquire my target blindfolded so I shave my sites down, who really needs them.

The guns I have with night sights, have GREEN. Green is the light spectrum most visible to the human eye. I prefer to have only the front sight "lighted". I'm easily confused.

And G37, you know I like you, but please be respectful of Glass.

I consider her both a friend, and an excellent resource, and I respect her and her experience immensely. And she likes Glocks.

Writing is a poor way to convey true intent, due to the lack of body language, tone of voice and inflection. So let everyone around here get to know you a bit before jumping in with both feet.

I only speak up publicly because I care, and want you to stick around.

What do you know? I believe we will all say a shot in the dark when we can see our sights and not PID a target is more of a liability. That and how could there be more liability without them. Will killing a friendly be less severe if the shooters gun had night sights? Is that less liable?

This is the interweb. I stated my opinion straight and to the point. For all I know she is the REMF. I heard a 42A oneday at the phone center bragging to someone on the other end he was issed a 6.8SPC because it is better and went on for a good time about the stuff he read on the web. For your sake I hope that is not your level of experience..

Get into a few shoots and let me know what you learn, get into a couple more where you could have fired on one of the goodguys and tell me about seeing your sights and PID and let me know what is more important.
Now, now G37, respectfully, where are your manners sir?

Hell, if you don't mind then, may I query your former or current military experience and training, branch of service and MOS and operational theaters you were actively involved with.

Sorry, I just get a little more interested when it comes to someone actually sharing about their gained real world combat experience of "tactical deployments outside the wire."

You may pm me if you like...we can swap stories!

I think this is what shihan ment when he said he shaves his off.

homeboy_sights.jpg

I have almost no experience with night sights so I don't really have much experience but I think I would have to go green because it is clearly seen in low light and doesn't effect night vision.

This is kinda pertinent to my imminent purchase...know you've all been talking about nite sights, but can I ask does anyone here use F/O? My choice is rapidly narrowing to the MP Pro (which has a green fibre front) and I'd like to hear opinions if anyone has some.

My buddy loves his F/O. I prefer to have my sights look the same in all conditions. I've seen more guys using them lately.

But the gold or brass bead, like Cane showed is my favorite front sight on rifles. It was the original F/O.
