Default FN Browning International II

Next week sunday I am getting my FN Browning International II .22 lr target pistol.

Here is the auction:

Got it dead cheap for € 169,- in a great condition.
A friend of mine picked it up at the shop for me, since the place I bought it from is a bit further away and I am off to a shooting event at his range on sunday.

Can anybody give me some input on this pistol?
What ammo runs best, etc.

I have shot the FN 150 a few times and liked the feel of it very much, specially since the sight aquirement is very natural when bringing the pistol up.

Got my FN/Browning the weekend before last and finally came round to test it.
Put about 100 rounds through her without a single failure.
I shot American Eagle and some other, pretty old bullets.

She shoots really nice and can`t wait for trainign with her to beginn for the competetitions beginning in March.
Here are some pics.

You have a moderately rare and fairly valuable pistol there. The best thing you could do with it is wipe it down with oil and put it away. I was a smith for BrowninG for 38 years and this is one of the guns that I worked on and there just isn't that many of them around. BUT it's your piece so do with it what you want but I'd burry it if it were mine.
