Default FMJ .32 ACP ammo better for winter time?

I usually carry .32 ACP JHPs in my NAA Guardian Pistol, but believe maybe it isn't enough during the winter time. You know? When people wear coats and other thicker apparel.

What's everybody's take on this? You think that FMJs are better for a .32 ACP pistol instead of JHP in the winter time because of the penetration/performance? Because of the power I assume the .32 ACP rounds have, I think maybe the FMJs won't be too much of an over-penetration concern during the winter time when the suspects have thicker clothing on.

I believe you'll need a bigger caliber in the winter time....
...due to your reasons...

Actually, I honestly would be carrying a bigger caliber. It's just that the weather where I'm at can be hot or cold. This happens when it just turns to the fall. When I don't wear a coat, I carry the .32 in my pocket. When I have a coat, I carry my other pistol. Then when I wear a heavier coat, I wear other pistol with a shoulder harness. I'm not a big guy, and I like to stay as concealed as possible.
