Default Flintlock pistol help!

My friend found this in her new house. She said there is a BP and a crown stamped on it. Has anyone seen one before?

With GREAT restraint, I shall not post about the invisible ghost gun.

Dude- we need pictures!!! In focus, large enough to see, well lighted. Half of the proof marks in Europe had a crown of some sort- and BP was a mark used by the Birmingham Proofhouse (England)

But get us PICTURES, man!

If you don't have any, post pictures of the girl.......

Wow! That looks awfully nice to be real. Does it say "Black Powder Only" on it anywhere? If so it is a reproduction.

That appears to be a "Decorative" Non-Gun. I doubt that it has a drilled vent in the pan. Who would shoot a brass casting like that? From what I can see there is no "Frizzen" or screw lock on the cock for holding a flint. It is sorta of a "Paper" weight.

I thought that perhaps it was some sort of decorative hand guard or something.

My guess is that it is some kind of a non firing replica.
