Oh, you mean back before the earth's crust hardened.

A .38 caliber Colt Police issue, with, IIRC, a 6" barrel.

Surprisingly accurate...

This one. Smith and Wesson model 34-1. I think I was 9 or 10 when I first shot it. He gave it to me for my 21st birthday. It is and will always be my favorite handgun.

The first handgun I shot was a P 08 Luger that belonged to a friend of my father. His Grandfather brought it back when he returned from WWII. Needless to say, I was pretty much addicted after that. OP, Thanks for bringing back the memories of my childhood in NC.

First handgun I ever shot "with my dad holding my hands" was a Star model PD. I was only 4 at the time so the big 45 ACP needed my fathers assistance ;-)

It was a .32 SA revolver of my friend's, then his 44mag Vaquero, then to the store to get a Colt Anaconda in 44 mag. I was born to boom.....doc
