You have to read the whole thread.

1) These are stupid civilians with no weapons training

2) They are in NY - for crying out loud

3) They have one off duty cop as part of their group

Not exactly a SeAL Team if you know what I mean....

I read most of the thread. The thought of you picking up a bunch of Glocks just makes me smile. I'm going to get that bumper sticker made up for you at some point.

Sorry, i derailed a thread....

Go to a sporting goods store to get a gun and ammo? Gee- what do you think that concrete room in the basement with the steel door is for? As the man said in Tremors...........

"You broke into the wrong goddamned rec-room didn't you ?"

And no, the typical sporting goods store does NOT sell live grenades- but they MAY sell an exploding target called Tannerite. Now, If you took one or two HUNDRED of those (use the little red wagon abandoned outside the store because it was covered in Zombie spit), things COULD get interesting.....

Make it a store that sells normal, little kid sparklers, like for the 4th of July. Get some electrical tape and some duct tape from the sporting goods section.

Wrap 6 or 10 or 20 sparklers together in a bundle with the electrical tape and leave the first half inch of a sparkler out of the end. Wrap the whole mess in duct tape with nuts and bolts. Light one exposed sparkler and throw FAR from your position. Improvised Claymore.

If you do this at home and get hurt - I am not taking responsiblity.

No myth bro - it really works. Kids sparklers, contained, can make a BIG bang.

Used to have a guy who lived down the street from us when I was a kid. He ran a fireworks stand and knew some REALLY cool tricks.

Some of them I am NEVER going to share on the interwebz... LOL

I wonder if pepper spray would have any effect on a zombie? I wonder if the hunting store would have those little propane canisters that fit my lantern & stove? If so, those lil propane canisters might do some interesting things if misused properly. I doubt shooting them would set them off, but if you were to find a propane lantern lit & in use, shooting it might be entertaining from a distance.

If the zombie goo is infectious on contact with human eyes, some eye protection would be available. I wonder if the hunting store in NY would have reloading supplies?

Regrets, but HollyWeird aside, shooting propane tanks does not make them explode. Explosion requires fuel/ air mix. No air in dem tanks.

Now, a pressure washer, supply of kerosene, and one a dem sparkler thingys we was talking about...........
