last year i ordered a Taurus 1911 45 ACP, the handgun was what i wanted , a beauty..... matte blakc, with a rail, for future,i shoot abot 500 rounds getting use tot he firearm, cleaned it everytime i got done shooting, so one day, i wanted to bang off some rounds to practice, i loaded the clip and fired one round, then click.... look at the slide n the expended brass was still in chamber, i was miffed, took the clip of , the new round i shook out,,, well in the end the Extractor was sheared off... i was heart broken... the gun wasnt even broken in and it was broke.... so here is the research, thru other forums about this workmanship of the quality of the gun, Taurus is using inferior materials, for there guns... it will take 4 to 6 weeks to fix... and i wonder if there is Other that have experianced this....
i have already made a decision, n know by test firing it today... SA XDM 45 ACP 13 +1
