Drills for HD

What type of drills can I run to prepare me and my mom for home defense

Cant hurt to find the natural choke points of your house and plan your defense around them. Need more details for more specific suggestions

Just if Someone were to break in shooting in stressful situations what to do if somebody did break in if that helps

No wat i meant was details on your home defense weapon because depending on whether your using a long gun or a pistol changes which strategy you use

Well I have the shotgun and my mom has the pistol

Alrighty now the shotgun is best utilized in a stationary position due to its size it is best used for when protecting a doorway or long hallway. Your pistol is best used for if you need to move around your house its small size making it much less cumbersome. As previously stated find the natural chokepoints and use them to your advantage also make sure you know whats behind your target as overpenetration in a hd situation is a real possibility
