does anybody know anything about this ammo

Hello all...I came across several boxes of 9mm ammo with Nabojov Ostrych on the label. Each box contains 40 rounds in flat clips of 8 rounds each, they have a nickel or stainless bullets and brass shells.. They seem to be in good shape. Markings are "51" at 12 o'clock; "x" at 3 o'clock; a "-" at 4 o'clock, a "*" at 7 o'clock, and a "4" at 9 o'clock. Does anyone have any info on where this stuff came from, and whether it could be good to use ? Will it fit my ruguer 9mm..thank you I have pictures if need be..ornchman:cool:

I'm guessing it looks like this.

Militaria - 40 Rnds 9mm on Strippers (NABOJOV OSTRYCH) - Auction: 8391737 (Ended 04/18/2008, 07:51:19 PST)

Got plenty of hits on a google search but I can't read the language 98% of the results are in.

Definately sounds East European to me. Czech/Slovak/Polish perhaps.... "Nabojov" sounds close to “Najbolji” which in Serb mean “The Best”
But I could be wrong here....

Ahhh and don't forget to swing by the forum for Introductions,... people generally like to know who they are talking to..

Make sure it isn't 9mm Makarov (9X18). That won't fit your 9mm Parabellum (9X19).
