The 75 compact/PCR is a really good gun, but it has some weight to it. I love the 75 platform yet I wouldn't choose to carry that model. But I would consider a 2075 RAMI. I've had the opportunity to handle and shoot both the poly and alloy versions of this gun. The polymer didn't impress, and it's not something I'd ever consider. But the alloy 2075 is truly a sweet little piece.
CZ's model 75 boasts an outstanding and proven lineage. I will always own at least one model 75 and it would be near the top of my list for a range and HD handgun. But I prefer to carry lighter/slimmer single stacks, so I may never actually add the 2075. It is however, a sharp looking little gun that will perform like a champ.
I kinda like Sig's P220 and P239 when it comes to medium sized carry guns. Of course, both are limited capacity single stacks.
I have several considerably more expensive handguns than my CZ 75b. But I honestly don't own a better pistol, in my opinion.
