Default Cowboy 44 mag. Ruger or Uberti?

Hi Friends, I'm thinking about buying a 44 mag. Looking at
Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk and Uberti. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks, Bernie

Both good companies. I'd go for the ruger.

I'd go with the Ruger Super Blackhawk... it's a classic. The Uberti is OK I had a Colt Walker repro that they made and it was well made and shot fine but it isn't a Ruger.

Ruger single-actions have been known to be the strongest ever since they came out many years ago.

Ruger. The Uberti will need some fixin sooner or later. However, the Ruger can be passed down to your kids, and their kids, and maybe even their kids. I own many Ruger's and shoot some pretty nasty loads through them and have never hurt any of them.

I have a Ruger new model super blackhawk and I love it. It's powerful but very manageable

This is my Ruger 44 mag. I would only go with a Ruger in this caliber.

Depends on what you want, I own both. The Ruger is great, but if you want a Cowboy Gun go with Uberti. The Ruger has adjustable sights the Uberti does not. The Rugar can take some hot loads the Uberti?? Personally I like the Uberti, but I do CAS and the Ruger Super Blackhawk is not allowed. I do love the Ruger and if using it for hunting it would be my first choice.

Thanks Guys. In thinking about Ruger which would be better, super blackhawk, old style blackhawk (3 screw), or red hawk? The Uberti's are beautiful guns, I have the 45lc, but sounds like the Ruger will stand up better in a 44 mag. Thanks, Bernie
