Conceal carry info
I'm in the market for a conceal carry pistol. Right now I shoot a Ruger SR9. Any suggestions on a good CC pistol?
Thanks!

What Longrange said. If you're comfortable with the Ruger, that's your carry gun. Something a little smaller? The Ruger LCR. In .38+p or .357mag, more than adequate SD rounds.

The Ruger LCR as suggested above is a great carry gun. Big revolver fan here.
Another option, since you know you like the SR9 is looking into a SR9C if you want a smaller gun. I have a .40 XD and a .40 XD Subcompact. I loved the standard XD, shot it well and was fimiliar with it so the XD Subcompact made perfect sense. Same gun but smaller.

Too many options to list. You need to narrow it down a little.

Bud you have to find what you like. We alll carry a wide selection of pistols and revolvers. If you like ruger and you want something lighter then look at smaller lighter rugers. If not finger everthing you can till you can slim down your choice. There really not many bad guns out today . Just models that some guys whine about that others don't and like.

What you already have is just fine for CC. Perhaps you just want another gun. Nothing wrong with that! I've shot the Ruger LCR in both 22 ($449) and 38 ($399) caliber extensively (my girlfriend has both). Mighty fine guns. Put one in your front pocket and you will forget that it's there. Weighs about as much as a potato chip, reliable as dirt, butter smooth trigger, and accurate as all heck. No safeties or feed issues to deal with. But I'm a big revolver fan.
Here's a video review on the Ruger LCR 38 by Hickok45 on youtube. He has over 650 gun related videos and does an excellent review. Nutnfancy is another good youtube gun reviewer. Watch as Hickok45 rings the gong at 80 yards with the LCR 38. From my own personal experience, and backed up by his video, the LCR is plenty accurate.

Try the SR9c which will handle just like your SR9 just be a tad smaller. You can also look at the M&P Shield.
In the summer here in Florida I have a Smith & Wesson J Frame 38, which in a pocket holster, disappears in the pocket.

Hi spzeig. I'm a big revolver fan, but that Ruger SR9 is kinda tickling my fancy. How would you rate it? Any problems with it? Sharing your personal experience with your SR9 will be greatly appreciated.
