Default Conceal Carry

Thinking about getting a Kahr P380, Does anyone have any experience with this gun? Would you go with this or the glock 42?

I would go with a S&W Shield in 9 mm. I have tried many other guns and the only other small CC gun I would recommend would be the S&W 642. You do not need to go to the 380 to get a good CCW.

I looked into it awhile back someone told me there was a recall on the gun. Ill have to do more research on it. 642 would probably be the most reliable option. Thank you!

I have a Kahr CM9 and a S&W 642. I use both of them as a daily carry. I don't carry them both at the same time. I make them take turns.

The Kahr CM9 is a very small gun. And it is a respectable cartridge. The 642 is simplicity at it finest. You can't go wrong with either gun.
I pocket carry both of them.

I have had a couple of 380s. But I got rid of both of them. Just not enough power for me. I believe in carrying the largest caliber that you can shoot well. During the week I have no choice but to pocket carry. On the weekends I often carry a Ruger 1911 in 45 ACP or a S&W 44 Mag.

Love the original Kahr K9 for daily carry. My wife has the SS MK9 Elite with night sights, she loves it. But these are steel guns, no polymer. The newer Kahrs are lighter and cheaper, but IMO not as nice and harder to train with.

Dont grab a sharp pencil to make a lost dog poster for telephone poles. Use a wide tip Sharpe. Right tool for the job. A pencil would work to make a sign, but you might never get your dog back.

Do you feel confident enough with such a gun? Accuracy is not that great with such small arms.
I have the Keltec P3AT (same size and function), and my groups are not that great even at 21 feet.

Would you try to stop a 150# wild hog with it? How about a 200# bad guy?
