completion or competition?

THE best I have found is the 1911 in different configurations (depending on the discipline. i.e. IDPA & USPSA, Steel, Target)

Do you also cc your XD you have now or will do so and if you like it and plan to keep it . It would be simple to buy the XD-M for match and target use. Nothing new to get use to between them except a bit more weight. You should look at class rules and deside what class you want to compete in and see what enhancements you can do down the road too.

M&P pro or glock 34/35.

Both are excellent platforms, more capacity than the 1911.

I've been running the g34 for a few years and have found no reason to change.

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?
