Does any one know if these are for sale any where? I really love the look of this revolver and have wanted one for some time...every time i call a dealer thoguh they tell me Colt is going out of business too, is this true?

They usually have 100-200 Pythons to choose from. Decent ones from about $1000. Most of the nicer examples are $1400-2500.

I sure do like Pythons. But my wallet finds the idea of a Ruger GP100 a tad more realistic.

had no idea they were so expensive.....with all your modern day guns around (carbine or glocks ) and others...its hard to find a good revolver in my area...they just shove snub noses in your face...I like the classic thick revolver look but cant pay a grand for one...any other options out there?
