With this system, all you have to do is count carefully.

As the last round leaves the mag, into the chamber, switch

to safety, drop your empty mag. Load with the safety on,

then count your next mag down to a round in the chamber,

and so on.

That's a great idea, Hossfly!
Actualy MOST will lock back when empty so just insert a full mag & flip the slide release- back in bizzness

Yes, but if we do it your way, he never has to release the

slide from battery, just count, and switch mags before firing the

last round.

I like that idea , but in the heat of the moment Im sure id lose track.

I realy like that Russian holster, push the pistol down to unholster an load at the same time. Cant remember where I saw it think it was on tv that show that pitted the Russian spec opps against the seals. They did a bunch of different ones.

Counting is something I am struggling with right now. I can't count to nine under pressure. I shoot my shotgun as much as possible in ZSA matches. If I let the magazine go empty it turns an under 30 second round into a disaster. I experience way too many disasters!

I would advise anyone who has a problem racking a slide to use a gun that locks the slide back when the magazine is empty in the event they lose count.

Well,..I wanted to get outside today and do a quick Vid on the Handi-Racker so I can Finish the review,..but MzGrn still not well,...so it's another day of Cleaning Guns & counting Ammo....I Guess it's for the Best, I'm still having Headaches from Thursday when Sgt. Gator YANKED me down and over the door step and Ramp to the Driveway because He thought we were going for a ride when it was supposed to be a walk. Hand still scratched up...6 different small cuts, all treated and were bandaged for a day +,..but still a bit sore...I would go in my Back Yard with some "quiet" powderless 22's but My friends In Blue & Gray Uni's Asked me not to anymore....I need a Pistol Crossbow!!!!!

Lots of people do need a handi-racker. There has to be a way to get the word out that it is available. Right here it's going to be a tough sell. Most of the users in a firearms forum have strong hands.

A couple years ago I picked up a broken Kel Tec P11. I fixed the gun and expected to sell it quick for $150. I put a sign in the Home Depot break room. Several people who are working at Home Depot came and looked at the gun. All of them had problems racking the slide on the P11. If people who lift heavy stuff all day have problems racking a slide the problem is more widespread than any of us might imagine.
