Many, many years ago my Dad had a similar pistol, except it was four barreled. Instead of having a rotating cylinder, it had a rotating firing pin. Supposed to be a .22 L.R., the chambers were oversized enough the cases split upon firing.

It was a take-off on an old Mossberg design. Have no idea what became of the gun.

I think I know of the gun you speak. Can't recall the name either. Was just looking it up a few weeks back. There was the Brownie, but I don't know if that's what you're referring to amd am being too lazy to google search confirm. Hahaha
