I'm not denying it hasn't been falsely represented in Hollywood!! But to say it doesn't exist is not true!!

Unless of course you get the same results from hitting a brick wall at different speeds!

seriously, i honestly don't know....i imagine 99.9% of the people on this forum have never seen a person shot with a shotgun...sooooo....

i do know firearm damage is FAR worse than portrayed by hollywood...people getting shot and walking away...that is hollywood fantasy for the most part....i have only known 1 person who has been shot in the hand by a 22.....9 months later...he could ALMOST completely make a fist. he was permanently damaged by a "weak" 22....

I've posted this before, let's try it again!

For those of you who believe in "knock down power" watch & learn.

They did a pretty conclusive Mythbusters on how much

something moves when hit by bullets.

For the most part it was very little. At all.

honestly, it is sort of common sense....most pistols barely knock over a bowling pin....

see if you can knock a microwave off a table with shotgun....wait....that sounds like a fun experiment.... what does a microwave weight...maybe 12/15 pounds?

A microwave? I have never been attacked by one so why would I shoot one? Burned popcorn is not a capital offense!

dammit, viking....we're talking about a scientific experiment here!

and lemme know if your microwave isn't making the grade....that "popcorn" setting should never burn one kernel imo...

Ohhhhh! I see! Just shot the subversive little effer. Unfortunately it was sitting up against the wall so it didn't move.

What I'd PREFER is a General Electric M-134 and about 30,000 rounds. Since I'm used to it "Aircraft" mounted, I will need at least a Hummer or Tomcar with extra armor plates, or an N model Huey If not a Blackhawk DAP. Since I don't have enough room in my back yard for a landing pad with a windsock on the roof, I'll be happy with a Barrett M-82 w/26" tube....mounted on a hydraulic powered cart, similar to the food vendor carts...
