Cheap handgun safe
If you are looking for BASIC secure storage, and do not have something, this might be what you are looking for. Harbor Freight has a small (.37 cu ft) safe going on sale for $24.99. They have a digital keypad with keyed backup lock, and are big enough to hold about 4 handguns. They are NOT Uber high security, and not fire resistant, but should defeat the teen aged punk wandering thru your house, and can be lag bolted to studs in the wall, or to the floor. Not the Cadillac of safes- but some of us may not be able to afford a Cadillac.
