I'm looking for a good ccw gun, and am just about set on a Sig P238. Thoughts?

It's a really nice pistol, but short on mag capacity. I'm not being negative, just pointing this out. I just bought a CZ83 with 12 round capacity because I like the idea of having more rounds in such a small caliber.

If you're already spending that kind of money get the larger cal.

Have you looked at the Bersa Thunder .380? (7, 9, or 15 round capacity) It is much less expensive and probably a bit harder to hide, but it shoots sweeeeet. It's like the South American version of the Walther ppk in the old James Bond movies.

I will have one for Christmas.

Don't overlook the advantages of a revolver as an SD gun. They get short shrift, but have many good attributes. Good weight to power ratio, simple manual of arms, easy to conceal in the j-frame size.
