can i carry any gun i want
I live in atl do u have to have a gun approved for ccw or can u carry anything u want

I don't know about where you're at but in ky where I'm from,we can carry anything we (ccw license holders) want.

I'm sure you can carry anything....but check with your police department...and if you have to have it approved get a sheriff or head honcho to go over it with you.
Most of the time as long as it's not a plasma rifle I think you are fine.

You can carry pretty much anything you want in Georgia, but you might want to check to make sure about Atlanta. They may have some kooky local ordinances.
The weird thing is, according to the GSP officer that I spoke with any knife you carry concealed with a fixed blade over 3" can get you into hot water. I have yet to find that in the law, but he went back and asked his superior.

Texas has two different CCW's
Type SA that allows the holder to carry any handgun regardless of action type.
Type NSA that allows the holder to carry any handgun EXCEPT a Semi-Auto (No Semi Auto, NSA)

In Alaska it can only have 1 barrel and must have an enclosed trigger guard.
