Sorry, I wasn't sure if you were rolling your eyes at a bogus story or at the laws that work so well on the criminal element. But you're right, most gun related laws simply inconvenience us law abiding citizens.

It's such a simple solution yet none of the politicians seems to be able to see it. No schools, no school shootings, no students, no injured students. Duh!!

After 11 years in the Air Force dealing with Berettas, I can say that most have 3 built in safeties.
Have they actually identified the weapon?? The few stories I've read haven't mentioned what type of gun was used.

Why so much attention on an odd and vague accidental discharge? Bottom line a firearm that is carried correctly is safe. Those that are not lead to news stories like this. You simply can't remove stupid from some people that get there hands on firearms. Try as you might there is no explaination for stupid that will make sense so why try?

please the three people hurt probably had mental angwish, or maybe they're ears hurt or some stupid little "tramatic" thing. I would say that the real story goes a little less tramatic, probably used that to spice it up a little to get more ratings or some kid wanted attention so they said they got hurt.

Yes, you are correct. I have several Beretta 92s, and it won't go off if dropped.
