Get the biggest gun you can handle, load it with the biggest bullet you can find, then wait of the biggest bad guy to enter your home, and hope everything goes as you planned.

I personally carry a 40 cal. (G27 or G22). My wife likes her .380.

Well I have completed a full lap of my pool with the assistance of a pool float, in the dark, managed to step up the 3 steps to my front door with a FULL can of beer in my hands, have eaten a goat, and still choose a 45ACP. Does that count?
