I actually just came home from Wal-Mart. Looked at some ammo for 9mm while was there. The Remington UMC 250rd mega box was $59.97. They also has Federal 9mm FMJ 100rd boxes for $18.97.

I had tons of problems with the UMC (FTF/FTE). Ill never use it again. Not to mention the Federal was the better buy. I'd get an extra 50rd box for about the same price as buying the bulk box of UMC.

Of course they also had TulAmmo 9mm for $8.97/50rds. I only use that when I fire my Hi-point. Extremely dirty stuff.

far as ive seen my local one has these"Federal 9mm FMJ 100rd boxes for $18.97" and the smaller box for $10ish i think..but im lookin to score like 300+ so i can practice a bit and still have carry ammo with out going n buying more all the time..n thatd be $19x3=bout $57-60 which i guess isnt bad but im sure theres bulk deals out there

Of all the bulk deals I've found, by the time you add shipping in WalMart is still cheaper

I'd check luckygunner.com. I've seen some pretty good deals on sale there

I buy all of my ammo from SGAMMO.com. The selection is
usually pretty good, the price is reasonable and shipping is fair.
Walmart might be cheaper, but does not even come close to the
different choices that sgammo.com has.

I looked on the internet for a local ammuntion supplier. To my surprise there was one 4 miles from my home with costs far less than Walmart.

+1

I buy a whole lotta ammo from SGammo. Great prices. Great prices on Lawman, Win Rangers, etc.

I actually buy quite a bit of Federal Champion at Walmart. I like the Fed Champ 100rd boxes, because they're packed like sardines, occupying less space on my shelves/range bag, and run great in all of my guns.

The only place I've found to match Wal-Mart on 9 MM FMJ ammo is Cabela's. And even then it is only when they are running a special sale. Usually it is Seller & Bellot for $9.99 a box. Wal-Mart has Federal Champion everyday for $19.97 for a 100 round "Value Pack". Lately they've been sold out.
