Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Coming from you that means... nothing. Did somebody skip their meds tonight?

Me?

Spare mag. Backup gun. Engineer. Mean time to and between failure... For a drive to splurge on a box of wine at Walmart?

They sell knives there too -- what're u carrying, a spring assisted opening Gerber!? 'cause knives never run out of ammo and maybe you can get "them" with your last breath... Don't deny it.

We knew a guy nicknamed "Doc" who carried four guns. Always. For those who didn't know him it was explained he was a dentist. The real reason was that's what he needed. Just reminiscing...

And after the novelty of being ALLOWED to based on your recent move from New Yawk wears off you'll stop. Altogether eventually unless you are in Phoenix which is like Farmingville...

Are you being sarcastic or are you just the 2nd most rational person in this thread? Lol

There's too fine a line here between p's -- prepared and paranoid.

Up to me? I'd watch the folk with multiple mags and disarm the CCW's with a backup gun and anyone open-carrying in "downtown."

Downtown is where all the crime occurs. That's the MOST rational place to carry.

After I have used a magazine for a while, especially if the magazine stays loaded all the time. I replace the magazine spring with a Wolff spring. Wolff +10 magazine springs perform better than the stock springs 90% of the time. If you just bought a new promag magazine I recommend replacing the spring ASAP.

I carry an extra magazine with me. If my gun jams I can just drop the magazine to clear the jam and pop the fresh magazine in the gun.

I don't want to play pick up the magazine with someone shooting at me.
