Boomer is here!
Went to the UPS store today at lunch and there was a package from our very own Stalkingbear which contains the .460 Rowland kit and some ammo. Jeez, do I need to get to the range now! I think I'll install it on my "beater" 1911 this evening just so it's ready to go. Pix will follow...

Be sure to install the kit in a gun on the CCG approved list. Otherwise it will beat a sub-par frame into submission! (Not that you have any sub-par 1911s.)

My "beater" 1911 is a Caspian slide on a Foster frame so it will be OK...

With such a powerful round, perhaps the "range report" should include some ursine control exercises, wild ursine of course.
