I toss mine in the washer with the darks, add some tide stain remover then low heat tumble in the dryer for around 20 mins does the trick, careful about tossing it in the whites as they tend to bleed on them

I tried it on my pt25. Stripped it apart took the wooden grips off and set them aside. Let it dry and clean it normal and its good as new now. I bet it could mess with a blued finish though

A little hot water and soap works wonders. This is how I usually do a deep clean on my gun parts, followed by a thorough dry and re lube with Militec 1 using a heat gun
