Bling for handguns
 

We all see a lot of these threads:

The simple answer - especially if you're new to handguns is - nothing. Take the money you had set aside for "bling" and buy more ammo. Leave the gun as is and shoot it - a lot. Once you're very comfortable with the platform then you can consider making some changes...

But...but....but, I wanted to have the slide chromed on my glock and have diamonds enlayed in the rear sight and a ruby in the front so I can see it better.

Should I take my Swiss Army Grips off my 1911? I've gotten used to having tweezers a toothpick and miniature scissors on my piece.

It does not matter the gun. AR's, 870's, Mossy's, Glocks, etc. Mall ninjas everywhere agree, "bling it up". It don't matter if you can hit the broad side of a barn from inside the barn as long as you look good doing it!

Kinda' like the brand new SUV with the aftermarket 22's and every chrome piece available before it even has 5K on the odometer. Its all about lookin' good, not about "doing" anything.

Both of my guns are bling-free, except for factory upgrades - cocobolo grips on the Mk III and a trigger job on the M&P.

that is probably the single best handgun to shoot a badguy with EVER!! wonder if the magazine is done up
