(Also, i would like to know how we pay here, to be a "supporting membership"? As you may understand, im from Norway, Europe; would there be any difference in the way you pay here? I would like to get access to the political forum, so that i could strike a blow against socialism(my country is sadly one of the most socialist countries :S !).)

God bless America and the Constitution!

Thank You for your uplifting comment. Many of us believe this is a great country, "warts" and all.

One of my "older" friends, who began serving during the Vietnam Era as an NCO, and Became an Officer after that(now a Ret. Lt. Col.) bought a SIG P238 about a year and a half ago. He says what many here say: it's like someone shrunk a 1911 down to 2/3rd size. It has the cleanest, sweetest single action trigger pull of any semi-auto I have ever shot, and I own 2 Gold Cups!!
Back then, My wife was only dabbling in semi autos at the time, and even she admitted that" IT was very easy" to run. The other one we did not shoot, but attended the Press Event for at SHOT, the Walther PPQ-22! You can work that slide with "Two Fingers curled Up"

Anyway, for self defense I have to agree with John_Deer and go with the S&W M&P 9, or probably its 40S&W version. It's an excellent choice but instead I went with the Glock 23 compact 40S&W and a 40-9mm conversion barrel.

For plinking I really like the Browning Buckmark but went with the Ruger Mark II instead.

For a revolver I've loved the S&W Model 29 44 Magnum for four decades but instead bought the S&W Model 19 357 Magnum in 1976 which honestly was the right choice for me.

The interesting thing to mull over, if things go right you should be getting everyone's second choice however does that truly give you the "best" choice? If a large enough and truthful response, then yes it could.
Thank you for a good reply! As you say, this only works is People are honest, and simply dont Write their own guns! I think it reduses some of this fanboyism. I have a topic on eroding freedoms i America in this forum, you should check it out. I dont think i have Access to it anymore, due to me not being a supportive member yet.
