What is generally the best concealable handgun that when it comes to protection you wont have to worry about?

I'm not sure what you mean by "worry." I carry a S&W 457-s, .45 acp. [avitar] with great confidence. Great pistol, combat proven caliber.

I carry a LLama .45 auto. Saved my bacon twice, why change what works?

Hey ninevolt, did that help? Generally to tell which gun is best for you, is to shoot as many different types as possible. Some ranges have different pistols to rent for that purpose. What works for me, won't necessarily work for you. As far as caliber goes, many agree that bigger is better, which is why I carry a .45. I would never carry anything smaller than 9mm.

Since you appear to not have any particular faforite, here is a good suggestion that will save you a lot of money. Do some research and do not worry about which gun to buy yet. Decide how you think you will want to carry your handgun; e.g. pocket, outside the waste band, inside the wasteband, etc. Then go to friends, gun shops, sporting good stores and look at and try their holsters. After you have determined how you will carry and have found a holster you like that fits your chosen carry method you can then buy the gun that fits the holster you decided on.
