Default Uhhh WTF??!

What the hell is retail security? You peeps are obviously not talking about like retail, retail. Because the weapon of choice there is a mag light in most locations.

In the unusual case some is armed in these situations they will either be in uniform...following regular uniformed officer guidlines.

If you are plain clothes the last thing you should be considering is shooting through anyhting!!

This thread is a joke I think.

You have seen through the ruse.

This thread was started quite awhile ago, by a very senior and well respected member, in response to a NUMBER of threads at the time where we were beset by Mall Ninjas (retail security) and Wannabes. NGIB was at the end of his very illustrious, government heavy, career along with extensive military service.

The man was no more interested in becoming a mall cop than becoming a break dancer in "Breakin' 3 - Electric Boogaloo lives"

The whole thing was an elaborate joke with a ton of senior members joining in with fictitious posts to draw out the truly juvenile.

How you stumbled across it, as it's been dead for about 18 months, is beyond me.

JD

I can't believe that no one has mentioned paintball guns. A woman defended her home against an intruder with one. She really lit him up. I am thinking two of them. Two of those with 250 round hoppers would be great. After the bad guy is down...you could keep shooting him. Then when his girlfriend decides to get involved you could get her too.

And once you've basically "branded" them lime green, LE isn't gonna have too much trouble identifying them when they take off running up the street.

Just imagine the kind of fashion statement that the shoplifters could make. They would be well on their way to contributing to society.

There has been a huge paradigm shift for the application of force in Retail Security. The predominant concept now are to use platoons of trained pigeons, outfitted with the latest stealth enabling body armor and an assortment of sensors/receptors. These platoons give Retail Security Command a force multiplier by being able to come from all directions, thus confusing and overwhelming any would be shoplifter and or terrorist cell.

rest easy folks, shopping is no longer a life threatening endeavor

Look, it's a clear choice between going akimbo (did I sy that right?) between the nice old Stechkin, the Beretta 93R and the Glock 18. I'm guessing our upwardly mobile man is a Glock fanboy...

Good luck with your new "career," and thank you for your service.

I have seen those! They were at Home Depot flying all around in the rafters. I thought that they were just there to crap all over everything.
