I'm not sure about "best," but my fave 9s in no particular order are

CZ 75 and its variants
Sig 228/M11
Glock 19
Hi-Power
Beretta 92FS

Of all of these, my tops are a toss up between the CZ and the Glock. CZ for form and shootability, Glock for function/reliability.

I love my Beretta PX4 sub compact with the 17 round mag. It does have an impressive muzzle flash but I am extremely good with it, and it's like my purse I don't leave home without it! With the 13 round mag it does feel a little too short grip wise, but with the 17 and mag extender cover I am a happy shooter!

best 9mm pistol? easy answer. the one that's in my hand, because it fits and suits me. what brand? doesn't matter what fits me. you need to find the one that fits you and suits your needs.

hit the pawn shops and gun stores and try a bunch out. narrow it down to a few and then keep trying them out till one just feels like it belongs there. if you have any ranges that rent pistols, then try those out to see what works best for you.

The 9MM Parabellum Cartridge was first chambered in a handgun in 1906. The research continues. No one has yet developed a practical 9MM anything.

Hey, did I just write that? Lol. I could say the same thing, great gun. Keep mine in a Serpa 2 ankle holster.
