Default Best .45

What will be the best .45 for home defense. Consider a standard grip. Thanks

The one you shoot the best. Your question is like asking what kind of car is the best or what kind of food is the best.

Drop by the introductions area and tell us a bit about yourself and then maybe we can provide some good advice...

I agree 100% with NGIB. Outside of a glock, the gun you shoot best and best fits your hand.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Thank you for your help. I have not been active for almost a decade. It was an honest question of what is going on the market nowdays. I guess I´ll buy a couple of magazines and find out.

"Being of the old school - the very old school - I wish to warn youthful readers against putting their faith in 'gun writers.' These people have a right to their opinions, but these opinions should not be taken as incontro-vertible. As a youth I was led astray on a number of subjects and had to learn of my errors by personal field experience. The fact that a man "has been there and done that" does not necessarily mean that he knows what he is talking about. Read as much as you wish, but read critically, and then submit your conclusions to the test. This is not always possible, so read carefully, read critically, and then reserve judgment. " Col. If you'd at least provided a price range, we could actually provide some suggestions - but you offered us nothing to work with. Sorry if you're offended but none of us are mystics and we can't read your mind...
