Default Ruger MARK II

This is my .22

A Ruger MARK II that I bought around 1995. It shoots as good today as it did the day I brought it home. I also recently bought a Ruger 10 22 Charger. It's a keeper too.

Ya' gotta' love them RUGERS...

Although my tastes are a little different that others here, I do have respect for the numbers sold. Rugers and Brownings seem to be good sellers. There must be some reason.

High Standard is the ONLY American Pistol MFR to EVER win Olympic Gold.

Ruger's never even won a medal in the Olympics. That should tell ya something right there.
REALLY Who here is shooting in the Olympics?

Not me. Bear I think he would have said something about it in the bunker and he hasn't...... When did you shoot in the Olympics?

What is your deal with bad mouthing Rugers?

In regard to Ruger bashing:

I have no doubt there's more accurate 22's out there, like Hammerli and such. But the fact is Ruger really is the "affordable firearms for responsible citizens".

Shrek, it is evident by some of your posts you have some knowledge that would be of great benefit to the community here. I see that you like Marlins and it appears you have some experience with the .22 cal. I am very interested in your knowledge and opinions, however constantly bashing Ruger is not a good way to get your point across. Maybe explain why you don't like them and give us some experiences instead of just flaming them and anyone who might like them. Honestly no one here is probably going to shoot in the Olympics and Ruger has proven to be a good gun in the past. Could you shed some light on why you dislike them so much and maybe give us some good info? Thanks
